Pippa Middleton said “I do” to fiance and hedge fund manager James Matthews on Saturday during a beautiful wedding ceremony at St. Mark’s Church in Englefield, England, near where she and her sister, Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, grew up. After the ceremony, the bride and groom made their debut as husband and wife as they left the church.

“The church bells at St. Marks’s Church began to peal. They are man and wife!” a source told E! News.

Both Prince George and Princess Charlotte served in the wedding party, as did Duchess Kate. Prince William and Prince Harry were also in attendance. Middleton wore a beautiful, custom lace dress, while Matthews donned pinstriped pants, a light blue vest and a long, black blazer.

“The kids looked absolutely gorgeous and really well-behaved,” Leanne Fox told People. “It was lovely to see them. We got to see the little ones coming out."

Instead of taking it as a loss, she donated everything to the volunteers at Ronald McDonald House charities to thank them for their work, KARE reports.

Yorkovich works at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis and sees the impact Ronald McDonald House Charities has on families every day.

“Seeing how Ronald McDonald influences people’s life, I thought it would be a great phone call to make. And a great phone call turned into a great event, so that helps,” Yorkovich said. “It took a lot of courage to do it, and I’m doing everything possible to make the best of the situation.”

More than 150 volunteers enjoyed the event and thanked Yorkovich for going above and beyond during the difficult time.

“I feel like I gained a whole other family with Ronald McDonald now,” Yorkovich said.

KARE reports that she is now making the most of what would have been her honeymoon in the Dominican Republic, choosing to take her mom with her instead.

80-year-old grandmother still fits in wedding dress, dons gown on 60th anniversary

An 80-year-old woman and her husband celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year at a party thrown by their family.

Janith and Joe Goedde, married May 11, 1957, in Haubstadt, Indiana, said the key to a long, happy and successful marriage is communication and prayer.

The great-grandparents celebrated their union at an anniversary party last month with 62 family members.

“Our anniversary is May 11, but to get everything and everybody together, we had it on April 30” Janith Goedde told ABC News.

The Goeddes were served a cake that read, “Happy 60th Anniversary.” Beside the lettering was a picture of the couple on their special day 60 years ago.

Family members complimented Janith Goedde on how nice she looked on her wedding day and encouraged her to try on her wedding dress again. She had kept the gown, which cost $69.95, in a plastic bag for decades, according to WABC-TV.

“When we came home that evening, one of the girls said, ‘I bet she can still get in her wedding gown. Where’s it at?’ Janith Goedde told ABC News. “I told them where it was in the attic, and they went up there and got it. So I had to put it on.”

The Goedde’s 1957 wedding announcement described the gown in detail.

It read: “For her wedding, the bride chose a floor-length gown of imported Chantilly lace and nylon tulle over satin, fastened down the back with tiny covered buttons. The fitted lace bodice was designed with Sabrina neckline and embroidered in pearlized sequins. The long sleeves tapered over the wrists.”

One of the Goeddes’ granddaughters posted a photo of her grandmother in the dress.

Joe Goedde said his wife “still looks beautiful.”

13 years after finding wedding ring in pond, woman tracks down owner

A woman has been reunited with her wedding ring more than a decade after it slipped off her finger into a pond.

Trisha O’Quinn and her grandfather were fishing at their family pond in Sayre, Oklahoma, 13 years ago when they came across a frantic couple. Jenni and Eric Easter also were fishing when Jenni’s wedding ring slipped off her finger and into the water.

“We helped them look for a long time with no luck and took down their name and number,” O'Quinn, who is now 22 years old, told ABC News. “About six months after they lost it, I went back to look for it because the water had dried up quite a bit, and I found it within minutes!”

When she tried to call the couple, the number had been disconnected.

She didn’t know the couple’s names, so her search for the ring’s owners came to an abrupt halt. She put the ring in her jewelry box and forgot about it until she spotted it last week.

O'Quinn decided to use Facebook to locate the mystery couple.

She posted photos of the ring along with the story.

“I know this is a long shot, but I’m hopeful!” O'Quinn wrote.

The post was shared more than 33,000 times. Little did O'Quinn know that the couple lived only about a mile away from her in Sayre.

The Easters eventually saw the post and reached out to O'Quinn. They have finally been reunited with the ring. They are getting it resized and cleaned before Jenni slips it back on her finger – for good this time.

As it turns out, O'Quinn was close to finding the couple all along. She works as a substitute teacher at the school where Jenni works. O'Quinn even coached their daughter’s softball team.

“I definitely believe it was nothing short of a miracle,” Eric told ABC News.

Man vomits moments after proposing to girlfriend on plane

Over-the-top, step-by-step, choreographed marriage proposals are becoming more and more common. Many are recorded and shared with the world on social media.

Among those is a man who proposed to the love of his life while on a small plane and threw up almost immediately afterward.

Darrell Hamilton Jr. of California, planned the perfect proposal: a private plane ride, a ring and a big question for Rheanna Lopez, 35.

What he didn’t account for was motion sickness that was probably complicated by nerves.

“I started to get motion sickness because I was messing with my electronics too much,” Hamilton, 26, told the New York Post. “That’s when I felt sick real fast. It didn’t help that the pilot kept tilting the plane to give us a good view.”

“I held it as long as I could. I remember feeling really horrible and wanting to hurry up to find the sign. I just wanted to get it over with. We found my cousin’s property, and I told her, ‘Do you see anything in the back yard?’”

Hamilton had arranged for a sign to be held up on the ground on the property that his girlfriend was supposed to see. Once she saw the sign, he would present the ring.

That backyard sign apparently had a typo. It said “Merry me.” Lopez didn’t end up seeing it.

Hamilton knew he was going to vomit and went through with the proposal anyway.

“She kept looking, but I couldn’t wait any longer,” he said. “I didn’t even ask her — I just showed her the ring and took a deep breath.”

The look on her face was priceless.

But for better or for worse means just that. Lopez ignored the turbulence and provided the smoothest of landings.

She said yes.

Bridesmaid for hire makes a living by being in strangers' weddings

A 29-year-old Florida woman gets paid to put on polyester dresses and walk down the aisle with complete strangers.

But that’s not all. Holding up 18 layers of pure dress so that a bride can use the restroom with ease, catching a bouquet like a champ then following that with an “OMG, I can’t believe this” speech and always participating in the obligatory cha-cha or electric slide are just some of the ways Jen Glantz is the MVP of bridesmaids.

>> Read more trending stories

For the past two years, she has been in more than 40 weddings. In other words, she’s made a living being a bridesmaid. Most recently, she built an entire business around her new profession and wrote a book about what it means to be a bridesmaid-for-hire.

“I’ve seen people get married for other things -- not love. I’ve seen people completely back out of their situation. But I’ve also seen people look at each other in a way that I’ve never seen before,” she said in an interview with The Palm Beach Post in February.

If you thought an angry, overwhelmed, hungry bride was the scariest thing anyone could experience at a wedding, you’re wrong. “Bridezilla” got nothin’ on a messy bridesmaid! Glantz has seen couples fist fight all the way to the altar and has found a bride blackout drunk behind a couch on her wedding night.

“I worked a wedding when the bridesmaids were doing everything they could to sabotage the day for the bride. One chose not to buy the bridesmaid dress and told the bride that day she was going to wear whatever she wanted,” she wrote in a blog post on EliteDaily.com.

Jen even had to deal with a bridesmaid who showed up an hour late for photos -- this meant an extra hour of guests waiting for the wedding to start -- because the bridesmaid wasn’t satisfied with her own hair.

Her crazy, one-of-a-kind career is a result of her creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.

Now she's going on tour to promote her book, "Always a Bridesmaid (for Hire): Stories on Growing Up, Looking for Love, and Walking Down the Aisle for Complete Strangers."

Man asks girlfriend to marry him after police 'arrest' her

Two police officers helped a man pull off an epic proposal to his girlfriend, complete with a fake arrest.

"I don't get in trouble so when the officer asked me to get out of the car, my stomach dropped," Brooklyn Schrupp, 20, told ABC News. "That was perfect for us. I know how much he loves his job and my whole family is in law enforcement so it was really sweet."

Schrupp's boyfriend, Greg Morris, is a correctional officer in Tennessee. He popped the question on Feb. 24 after he solicited the help of Medina police Officer Kevin Vester and Officer Steven Morgan of the Gibson County Sheriff's Office.

The officers pulled Schrupp and Morris over and told the 20-year-old that she owed money for a traffic violation and her license was suspended. They told her they had no choice but to arrest her.

"I said (to Schrupp), 'Stay calm. We are going to work it out.'" Morris told ABC News. "(Morgan) said, 'Anyone in the back of the car has to get cuffed.'"

The officers "released" her a short time later, and a moment after that, Morris was down on one knee.

"I wasn't focused on anything else going on around me," Schrupp told ABC News. "I was just focused on him going down on one knee."

She said yes.

"She thought it was a great prank," Morris told ABC News. "She took it really, really well and enjoyed it. I wouldn't have done it if it was something she wouldn't have taken well. We're still laughing three days later ... seeing her laugh is the ultimate goal."

Couple who postponed wedding because of separate cancer battles finally ties the knot

A couple who both battled cancer together finally tied the knot after spending 11 years at each other’s side.

Ashley Wood and Kevin Sochanchak, of Deptford Township, New Jersey, have been planning their wedding for a long time.

The couple planned to marry years ago, but in 2011, Wood was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, and their wedding plans were put on hold.

According to WPVI, three years later, Sochanchak was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach and esophageal cancer. He was given just six months to live.

But this month, after completing a difficult stretch of cancer therapies, the couple wed with the help of Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford, New Jersey. The restaurant hosted a contest promising an all-expenses-paid wedding that the couple won.

Sochanchak said the hope of marrying Wood helped him get through his most difficult treatments. The wedding was a time to focus on their love for one another instead of their illnesses.

According to WCAU, Wood was declared cancer-free in 2016, and Sochanchak is still fighting the disease.

“I’m just really grateful for everything they have been doing to get me through this moment,” Wood said of Adelphia Restaurant. “I can’t believe this is happening.”
