Use Of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" in Movie "PAN" May Be The Most Awkward Moment In Movie History

I feel stupid, And Contagious

Oh, the Internet. Land of edits, recuts and IP theft galore. But this scene isn't just WEIRD, it's REAL.

The new Peter Pan epic film "Pan" made a whole list of unusual choices, but to use Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is by far the oddest.

Surely some executives for the film know Kurt Cobain would be rolling in his grave over this, but thought happy thoughts could make it all better.

While the scene itself wasn't the worst thing in movie history, it's just weird - and out of nowhere.

If this trend keeps up - who knows, maybe the next Winnie The Pooh movie might have some Judas Priest on the soundtrack.

And when it does, critics will "Pan" that movie, too.
