The FAAN walk raises funds for research, education and advocacy, as well as outreach and support for those dealing with life-threatening food allergies. Currently there are approximately 15 million Americans, 6 million of them children, living with food allergies. It only takes one bite to have a life-threatening response and there is no cure.
The FAAN Walk for Food Allergy on Long Island 2012 will take place on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow. Registration begins at 12:00 p.m. and the Walk begins at 1:00 p.m. Walk with us to raise awareness, and funding for research for food allergies.
