The 9th Annual Serpent's Back Mountain Bike Duathlon - October 14th, 10:30 AM Start, Day of Registration 9:00AM The East Ends most scenic and challenging course and talked about as the best and most affordable race/duathlon on Long Island. Takes place in Hither Hills State Park, Montauk, NY at Eddie Ecker Park, the most beasutiful setting in Montauk. Consists of a 2.4 mile single track windy trail run followed with an 11.5 mile mountain bike, mostly single track, then asnother 2.4 mile same trail run. Mostly single track with some steep twisting descents, climbs and some jeep trails and sandy spots overlooking breathtaking Napeague Bay. Prizes, age group/gender awards, raffles, food & drinks and plenty of laughs. Relays are welcome.
