Eastbound Freight plays Bluegrass Eastbound Freight warms up the meetinghouse of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the South Fork 977 Bridgehampton- Sag Harbor Turnpike Sunday Dec 2 at 2 PM Here is down home bluegrass in the style of the groups who created it: like Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs and the Sunny Mountain Boys. They have performed for the Lincoln Center Out-of-Doors festival, NPR's Acoustic Connection and in many other live radio broadcasts. Their first release, "Don't Blame Me" won an award from Billboard and high praise from Bluegrass Unlimited. It will be a rousing afternoon of folk lore, gospel and back country bluegrass polished by 20 years of stage experience. Ticket sales benefit UUCSF and our local food pantries.
