This 787-acre national wildlife refuge is a haven for migrant and winter waterfowl. Ruddy Duck, Redhead, Greater and Lesser Scaup, Shoveler, Green-winged Teal are just a few of the species we have seen here this time of year. We will walk out to both points, looking for kinglets, sparrows and other migrant songbirds in the meadow and coastal forest along the way. Meet at 8AM at DPNC to carpool or 8:45AM at Trustom main entrance, directly off Matunuck Schoolhouse Road. Member $7; Nonmember $10.
