Bellport United Methodist Church (BUMC), in Bellport NY is having a “Lets Celebrate Spring” spaghetti dinner and concert fund raiser on Friday March 22, 2013. Food will be served starting at 5:30 pm through 7:00 pm.  With the first day of spring on Wednesday February 20th, what better way to celebrate than with family and friends for a diner you don’t have to cook and a afterwards a concert starting at approximately 7:15 pm featuring the Church’s Bell Choir and other musician friends of the Church.

This is a free will offering diner with all proceeds going to our Mission Program. The Church’s Mission and Outreach program focuses on how we  are called as disciples to experience Christ's love for us  and to embody God's love in the world.   For BUMC our Mission Outreach is local, our country and the world. Locally we work with our local food kitchen Inn Friendship, we also work with Habitat for Humanity and many other local organizations through the Long Island Council of Churches.  We work with and contribute to the United Methodist Committee on Relief and we also support missionaries in The Philippines and Zimbabwe Africa.

So please come and enjoy a dinner of spaghetti and meatballs , salad, with desert and iced tea, lemonaide and coffee, and then the concert afterward.  Also know that your free will offering will go towards helping people locally, around the country and worldwide.
