Most recently, Matt held multiple executive roles at Aptela - a leading Voice Over IP / Cloud PBX provider. He helped steer the company through rapid hockey stick growth, the 2008 crash, a difficult recovery, profitability and eventual acquisition. Matt led development of Aptela's products, internal systems and Salesforce.com platform, resulting in a customer-centric understanding of all aspects of the Product Development Lifecycle.
Matt has been an internet pioneer several times over, starting with the web's first e-commerce sites for FTD Florists, Omaha Steaks and others. Matt launched the internet's first airline ticketing portal for American Express, and later built Starter Corp's first official Super Bowl store. He was recruited by AOL to lead the development of their standalone web browser, and he designed the system that publishes NASDAQ Investor Relations web sites and web casts.
