Improvisational theater training is not just for performers. In fact, it is often used to teach executives, business owners, entrepreneurs, sales people, customer service reps and many others how to think on their feet, listen to what is being said and respond to questions or comments to keep the conversation flowing. Improv theater games have proved to be invaluable to public speakers as well. For these reasons, the Independent Business Women’s Circle has asked Karen Baker Blum - sales trainer, entertainer and Sage University ambassador to bring her improv exercises to the February 11th meeting. These exercises will help you learn to:Listen, respond and engage other people based on what you hearWin someone over to your sideThink more swiftly, creatively and intuitivelyTake the initiative and become a better leader Lighten up and find humor, even in difficult situations.
