Considering their loyal fan base, popularity among Northeast promoters and the success of their last indie album She Sells Smiles, the easiest thing for Long Island powerhouse Gee Davey to do would be to just go along for the ride and resist those impulses to evolve. Rules:  One winner from each of the four qualifying rounds will get the opportunity to perform a 30-minute set at the Grand Prize event on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Mulcahy’s in Centereach.  Order of bands will be selected at random.  Finalists who are not able to perform at the event for any reason will be disqualified and replaced by the second place band from their round.  Each Finalist Band will receive 300 free tickets to the Finals.  The band who gets the most people to turn in their tickets on the night of the Finals will be the winner.  One ticket per attendee.  In the event of a tie, the grand prize winner will be selected by random drawing.  Bands who are not prepared to perform during the predetermined timeslot on the night of the Finals will be disqualified.  The decision of the WBAB judges is final.
