• Saturday and Sunday – free BBQ courtesy of Hope for the Warriors and BBQ Brethren on the 2^nd floor of the parking garage next to Long Beach Police Headquarters.

Modell's Sporting Goods Lends a Hand in conjuction with Island Harvest
The following locations of Modell's Sporting Goods will be helping to collect non-perishables and personal care items.  They will also be collecting dollar donations at the register. Details here.

Please keep in mind Island Harvest warehouses - Uniondale, and Hauppauge - are open this weekend 10:00 am to 3:00 pm to receive food donations.Non-perishable food donations and personal care items are greatly needed! In addition, if you'd like to make a financial contribution, our office in Mineola is open as well.

Suffolk County Knights of Columbus Hurricane Relief

The Suffolk County Knights of Columbus have set up 6 VERY CONVENIENT drop-off centers to donate items to neighbors in need. All six locations will be open 8am to 12 noon Saturday.  Patchogue will ALSO be open Friday night from 7-9pm.  Call 516-697-5104 for further info. Details here.

• Respiratory masks, cleaning products, work gloves, heavy-duty garbage bags, garbage cans, storage tubs, hand sanitizer, paper towels, mops, rakes, shovels, brooms, hand saws, axes, hammers, crowbars, etc.
• Bottled Water, non-perishable food (including cereal, pop tarts, energy and granola bars, juice boxes, etc.) and can openers
• flashlights, lanterns, batteries, blankets, towels,
• Toiletries: toothbrushes and paste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, toilet paper
• Dog and Cat food
• Gift cards
• Loaner generators and gas cans
