If you're heading to NYC for the Allman Brothers shows at the United Palace Theater (4140 Broadway at 175th Street), keep in mind that if you're taking the LIRR you'll need to take the A train from Penn Station, uptown to the 175th Street stop. According to hopstop.com that subway ride will take about 30 minutes.

The only time I was at this theater the lines to get into the nearby parking lots were quite long, so give yourself enough time to park and not miss the beginning of the show!
