Hey it's Donna Donna, I am was so  psyched to host WBAB night at the Allman Brothers Tuesday! It was a blast. Surprise guests who have appeared or are still to come include Leon Russell, Dr. John, Chris Robinson, Steve Earle, and Robert Randolph. It's amazing to think that it was 40 years ago this month that the band recorded their seminal album "At Fillmore East". How many other bands have not only survived, but thrived for over 40 years? The only other one I can think of is the Rolling Stones, and that's pretty damn good company to be in wouldn't you say?

Joe Rock hosted last Tuesday night and listener Derek McCabe (who was sitting in the loge) shot some really cool pics of Joe and the band. It turns out that Derek is a proffessional photographer as well as a huge Allman Brothers fan, and he's allowing us to post these shots for free. Thanks Derek! .
