Sam Kille from the Red Cross will be on the Perfect Lunch Hour today talking about next Saturday’s Islanders / ‘BAB Cross Walk fundraiser (4/2).
All participants get tickets to the Islanders Carolina Hurricanes game after the walk, and there’s lots more.
During registration and check-in, the Islanders ICE Tour will be on the Coliseum Plaza with interactive games and inflatables for the kids.
Rewards for those who collect donations (beyond the registration fee), include: Top Fundraiser: Season Tickets for the 2011-12 New York Islanders (must raise over $1,500), Top Ten Fundraisers: High-5 players outside of the Islanders locker room (must raise over $200), Top School: Trophy.
Additionally, any school that raises over $5,000 will be visited by a player, and all walkers who raise at least $10 will receive an event T-shirt.
