Today (11/1), original Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley releases his autobiography and in it, he has some choice words for his former band mate, Gene Simmons.  According to the New York Post, in No Regrets, Ace writes that Gene is a “sex addict” who had no luck with women before becoming a rock star. Ace goes on to say Simmons was an “epic slob” who was “infested” with a constant case of cooties from all the women he bedded.  When the Post asked Gene for a comment, the rocker didn’t seem to mind what Ace wrote but did note, “Fact: Ace has been a drug addict and alcoholic for 35 years.  Fact: We love Ace and wish him all the best.”

Axl Rose appears on an upcoming episode of Vh1 Classic’s That Metal Show and on it, he reveals that Duff McKagan’s band Loaded will open for Guns N’ Roses at some future shows. Axl also discussed new music, his lateness, the band’s line-up and being nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  The hour-long interview airs on November 11th on Vh1 Classic. 

Rush singer Geddy Lee recently spoke to Rolling Stone about some interesting tour ideas for the band in the future. After playing Moving Pictures in its entirety on their last trek, Lee said they are thinking about doing another full album tour. Geddy explained, “I would love to try that idea again. I thought it was really fun. And given the fact that we play for almost three hours, you can do that and still have lots of time left over to play other stuff.” Lee added that it would be fun to play 2112 in its entirety on stage.
