Black Sabbath announce new album, 2012 world tour

By Donna Donna

When Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward refused to participate in the band’s reunion until he’s given equitable terms regarding the tour and new album, reports said that Tommy Clufetos, the drummer for Ozzy’s solo band, would replace Ward.

So where do things stand now?

When asked about it recently Ozzy’s wife and manager Sharon Osbourne said “I honestly, honestly don’t know.  It’s all up in the air.”  She went on to say, “The one thing that is for sure is that Sabbath are in the studio with [producer] Rick Rubin and they are going on tour.

That’s all I know.”  Regarding Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi’s cancer treatments, she said he is “doing brilliantly well.”
