Steven Tyler and the Star Spangled Banner, Thumbs Up or Down? By Donna Donna
There’s a lot of people complaining this morning that Aerosmith front man and American Idol judge Steven Tyler’s rendition of the National Anthem before the Pats/Ravens game yesterday wouldn’t even get him a ticket to Hollywood on his own show!
What the hell, he’s the lead singer of Aerosmith not Pavarotti! He did change one word of the notoriously difficult to sing song, he sang “as bombs bursting in air” instead of “the bombs bursting in air”. Really? You’re gonna hang the guy cause he changed “the” to “as”?
