Mick Jagger & Keith Richards 1972

Remember when Keith Richard’s autobiography “Life” came out in 2010 and Keith made statements in the book like "It was the beginning of the '80s when Mick started to become unbearable." Keith revealed that his nicknames for his band mate were "Brenda" or "Your Majesty", and even went so far as to tell the world that Mick had a teeny tiny penis saying that Mick’s one time girlfriend Marianne Faithfull "had no fun with his tiny todger.

I know he's got an enormous pair of balls — but it doesn't quite fill the gap." Word was that Mick didn’t take too kindly to the diss (as you might imagine). But now apparently Mick and Keith have buried the hatchet.

According to Rolling Stone magazine, in the forthcoming (as yet untitled) new Rolling Stones documentary , Richards explains, “It was my story and it was very raw, as I meant it to be, but I know that some parts of it and some of the publicity really offended Mick and I regret that.”

Jagger tells Rolling Stone, "Looking back at any career, you are bound to recall both the highs and the lows… in the 1980s for instance Keith and I were not communicating very well. I got very involved with the business side of the Stones, mainly because I felt no one else was interested, but it's plain now from the book that Keith felt excluded, which is a pity. Time I reckon to move on."

Richards adds, "Mick's right. He and I have had conversations over the last year of a kind we have not had for an extremely long time and that has been incredibly important to me."

The Glimmer Twins détente paves the way for a 2013 tour and the group plans to get together for some studio sessions next month. If all goes well maybe we’ll have a new Stones record to accompany that tour. So please play nice boys your fans are depending on it!
