Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Sting, and Christina Aguilera (how’d she get in there?), will perform in a telethon to raise funds for victims of hurricane Sandy.

The show, "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together," will be hosted by Matt Lauer and will air on NBC and its cable stations, including Bravo, CNBC, E!, G4, MSNBC, Style, Syfy and USA. Other networks have been invited to join in. It will also stream live on NBC.com. It will air live Friday at 8 p.m. on the East Coast and on tape delay at 8 p.m. on the West Coast.

The telethon will be broadcast from the NBC facilities in Rockefeller Center in New York City and money raised will go to the American Red Cross.
