Over the last three years, Matt Ellwood from Bay Shore has run more than 6,000 miles, and he's ready to hit the road again!

WBAB will be on hand tomorrow (10/3) for Matt's 'Run It Forward 300' fundraiser to benefit the Breast Health Center at Good Samaritan Hospital and the Bay Shore Wellness Alliance.

Matt's run starts at noon at William Floyd Elementary School, 111 Lexington Rd. in Shirley.

Matt will run from Shirley to the Montauk Lighthouse, then turn around and run to the Coney Island Lighthouse then turn around again and run back to William Floyd Elementary, then on to compete in the Entenmanns Great South Bay half marathon!

And Why does Matt do it?

"I Run to show the sick, there is HOPE!!

I Run to show people we can help!

I Run to show our children that anything is possible"

You can cheer Matt on, or even run along with him at any point along his 300 mile route by connecting here.

You can also make a contribution here  to help Matt reach his $10,000 goal.
