Former GnR guitarist Slash stops by Conan O’Brien’s talk show tonight toperform his new single, “Standing in the Sun,” before heading out on the European leg of his Apocalyptic Love tour.

And although he is touring, somehow Slash still finds time to spend in the studio not working on a new album, but the score for the first film his production company, Slasher Films, will release.  It's a horror movie called Nothing to Fear and Vh1 says, "The flick is based on an actual town in Kansas that, according to legend, is one of the seven gateways to Hell." The film is due out next year. 

In the meantime Eagle Rock is releasing a limited-edition run of Slash deluxe packages. The four-disc package will include the guitarist’s Made in Stoke 24/07/11 DVD, a single CD edit of that show, his latest solo album, Apocalyptic Love, and the previously unreleased DVD Live from New York.  The box also includes a 60-page hardback book filled with amazing photos.  Now this package is set for release in Europe only, but a small quantity of imports will be made available at SlashOnline.com, while supplies last. The set hits shelves overseas on December 3^rd.
