It's Official Stones Confirm Dates in London and Newark? Yes Newark! By Donna Donna
After weeks of speculation, it's official, the Rolling Stones announced yesterday via a video on their website that they wll play 2 dates at London's O2 arena and 2 dates at MSG? The Meadowlands? The Nassau Coliseum? No the Newark Prudential Center!
In announcing the dates in honor of the Stones 50th anniversary, Mick Jagger said: “Everybody loves a celebration, and London and New York are two good places to do it in!” Would somebody please introduce Mick to a map! Newark is not New York!
Oh well at least it's in the tri state area. The band performs at London’s O2 Arena on November 25th and 29th , and at the Prudential Center in Newark, on December 13 and 15. The last show of this mini-tour will be broadcast live on Pay-Per-View.
