Nassau County Police Officer to be Buried Today By Donna Donna
Between 8,000 and 10,000 police officers are expected to attend the funeral of Nassau County cop Joseph Olivieri today. Officer Olivieri was killed in a crash on the LIE last Thursday.
Oliveri is from Ronkonkoma and his funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m. at St. Joseph R.C. Church on Church Street in Ronkonkoma.
Suffolk County Police expect periodic closures along Ronkonkoma Ave, Hawkins Avenue and Pond Road between County Road 16 and Express Drive North between 9AM and 2PM.
