2 New Fall TV Shows Tonight, Revolution and Mob Dr. Worth Watching or Not? By Donna Donna
I gotta admit the trailers for Revolution make the show look pretty great, but how many times have you watched something you thought was going to be really good and wound up wishing you could have that hour of your life back?
So I decided to check with my favorite TV website “TV Worth Watching” for clues.
Sad to say here’s some of what the TVWW had to say “I wanted to like this – but halfway through, I was hoping my power would go off.” Another TVWW critic said “Those seeking the latest Lost had best keep looking past this muddled mess.” Oh well.
As for “The Mob Doctor,” whose premise doesn’t sound promising to begin with, TVWW said “This series starts strong, then drowns in a whirlpool of increasingly preposterous absurdities.”
Another critic wrote, “the ridiculously over-written pilot should be a mandatory study for all aspiring script writers and development executives.” Ouch!
