Halestorm Beats Vets Maiden, Megadeth, Manson and More By Donna Donna
In 1989 the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences awarded the Grammy for the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance to Jethro Tull for Crest of a Knave over Metallica's ...And Justice for All
Well this year Halestorm's win for "Love Bites (So Do I)" beat out veteran metal bands Anthrax (I'm Alive), Iron Maiden (Blood Brothers), Marilyn Manson (No Reflection), Megadeth [Whose Life (Is It Anyways?)], and Lamb of God (Ghost Walking).
Even Halestorm was shocked. Lzzy Hale said "Who screwed up and gave us a Grammy?"
