Ozzy on the Secret to a Successful Marriage By Donna Donna
Now Ozzy might not be the first guy you think of when it comes to romance, but he and his wife, Sharon, have been married for over 30 years, so for Valentine’s Day Vh1radio asked the Prince of Darkness what his secret is to having such a successful marriage:
“You give and you take. We all make mistakes, we all do things but you just stick it out. When you get married, you say for better or for worse, and people want the better and not the worse, for rich or for poor, they all want the rich and not the poor. You gotta ride the storm and sometimes, when you think your kids are all sick and I’m drunk and my wife is shopping too much or whatever, you can’t just, at the first bend in the river, you can’t get off the boat, you’ve got to ride it through the rapids, you know.”
Ozzy and Sharon got married on July 4th, 1982.
