On January 7th, 1975 when 2000 fans at Boston Garden rioted as tickets for a February 4th Led Zeppelin show were about to go on sale, Boston's mayor decided to cancel the show for fear more rioting and damage would occur. Well Boston's loss was Long Island's gain because the Nassau Coliseum scooped up the canceled date and booked the band to appear for the first of three Nassau Coliseum shows.
The 2/14 date was recorded from the soundboard and sounds awesome! You can listen to that recording in the video above.
