From 3AM this morning….Just got in from Van Halen and I'm shot but it was a blast. How could ya not!? Ya knew every song! Sang, hummed, or screamed every word all night. Sure David forgot the words a couple times, hell he openly admitted it. But he's Diamond David Lee Roth. He runs the circus as ring leader and clown simultaneously and is just entertaining as hell to watch.

Eddie played some great guitar all night and Alex kept pounding and pulled an adequate solo, and Wolfie held his own. I went with my boss Chris (Thanks brotherman) and get blown away when I realize I'm sitting next to my old pal Rockin Robyn Lane and a couple of seats over are Eric Wellman and Eddie Trunk. It was great fun hanging with a bunch of people I have had the pleasure to be in the same industry with over the past 30 years.

I think the best song in execution on all fronts and maybe Dave's best vocal all night was "I'll Wait" but that's just this Dee Jay's opinion and you can tell from the seats how they think about us lol. Those were $150.00 seats!

If I paid for them I'd a been pissed lol. All kidding aside it was FUN, it was loud and it was Van Halen! Without Michael Anthony doing those cool vocal fills and such but you only noticed that when it happened lol. But they ended with "Jump" and that's cool because it matched the shirt I wore today. Oh! And it’s a great song.

Maybe it's fitting that "I'll Wait" did it for me because I, like many, waited a long time for this reunion show to happen and now it has.....Did ya hear Iron Maiden is coming to Jones Beach!!
