One of the great things about my job is, from time to time, I get to do cool things like broadcast live from locations outside of the station.

Tomorrow I am going to do just that at the Nikon Jones Beach Theater for the Allman Brothers and Santana show.

The interesting part is watching the show come together, because I start on air at 2 and as I broadcast my show I get to see all the worker bee’s assemble the stage and set up the VIP area and load the concession stands.

All of the T-shirts that you see on the walls for sale during the show, I watch get spread out on tarps and inventoried and organized and then displayed for purchase.

I find it really neat to see all this so during my recent show from the Def Leppard/Poison show I recorded a couple of “Fingers At Arm’s Length” (my video blog) to capture the experience. You can view them here.

So I figure I will do that again going deeper into the fray and maybe I will luck out and get Greg or Carlos involved. Either way I am going to try and give you the best radio and bonus entertainment on the web.
