When I lost my best brother man Ski in December it hurt and still does. However, his legacy of giving back and lending a helping hand lives on though many of us and that, gives me joy.

Please join me in supporting his daughter Crystal's desire to perpetuate the good of giving and helping as we gather items for the victims of the recent tornados in the Midwest. Thank you and thanks’ to you Crystal, dad would be proud.

If my dad was here he would have had the truck already packed and on its way down south, but he’s not so someone has to do it and I’ll take over for him. So with that being said, here are the details for the donations:

Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 5 pm to 10 pm.
Location: South Country Ambulance Parking Lot
Corner of Montauk Highway and Dunton Avenue
East Patchogue, NY

Donations Needed:
Bottle Water, Blankets, snacks, adult and children’s clothes, diapers and wipes, baby food/formula, juice (individual), packaged food, packages of new underwear, socks, children's shoes, lightly worn shoes/clothes, tarps, generators, paper products, toiletries, trash bags, and gift cards to Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot and Money donations. If you want to make a cash donation, you can make the checks payable to Ski’s Open Heart Foundation or The American Red Cross.

Volunteers Needed:
To pack the boxes of supplies we receive and load on truck. We will also need people to supply boxes for the items to be packed in, so if you have any please let me know.
