Back in 1987, I had the pleasure of spending almost an hour with Ozzy Osbourne in the studios of the old WBAB building over on RT 109.
We talked about everything from Randy Rhoads and the Tribute album to his addictions and life struggles, John Lennon and more.
Please keep in mind this was before digital and the tape has aged a tad but thanks to Paul Andrejack at PMA studios for helping recapture it.
What amuses me is how young and green I sound. I remember being so excited and not wanting to turn Ozzy off with a fan boy in the room. So I am consciously very chill when he walks in dressed in white, hair done, sober and in a good mood.
Plus this was before his ticks and stutters started however his accent is still thick.
Anyway it is one of my favorite moments of my career.
