As I walk up the narrow staircase of an old New York City theater like The Beacon I know I am on hallowed Rock N' Roll ground. I had just come from the production office where I was lucky enough to see the set lists from every night of the run so far this year and I snapped a pic of tonight’s list with permission from and thanks to the folks at Live Nation.

As I get up to the stage I'm standing inches from Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi who are tuning their own guitars in preparation for the night's performance. I've done this a bunch of years in a row now but when I step out on stage and see all that equipment that most times I see from the audience, I am humbled and excited beyond belief and then I am taking part in a 40 year tradition and introducing The Allman Brothers Band !!!
