It seems a lot of rock bands are following some new trends. Guns N’ Roses certainly seems to be following right along as well.
Last year Motley Crue was the first band to do a residency at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Vegas. Guns N’ Roses became the second band to do it.
They kicked off their residency on Halloween. Surprisingly the only problem of the run of shows was a poster that featured a “disheveled” woman under the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign.
Some city officials voiced their complaint especially after temporarily naming a street “Paradise City Road”. The posters were fixed and the shows went on without a further hitch.
Well if you missed the shows have no fear. The Gunners are following in Metallica’s footsteps now and releasing a 3D Film of the string of shows.
Axl may not look or sound like he did back in July 1987 when “Appetite for Destruction” was first released. As for the rest of the band, not one other member remains from the original line up. Read more.
So if you think of them as GNR or Axl and Friends you can watch them do “Paradise City” right here.
