I’ve been lucky to have seen the legendary John Fogerty in concert a number of times. Live is where you realize just how many truly classic songs he has written. They come one right after another and somehow you just seem to know the words to every single one.
John is getting ready to release a new album but with a lot of those classic songs reworked. John may have started his career in the 1960’s but he has his finger on the pulse of what’s happening in music today. He shows that in the guests on this new album “Wrote A Song For Everyone”. On this album John does many of his CCR and solo hits with guests from The Foo Fighters, Tom Morello, Bob Seger and Kid Rock to country artists like Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban. The album even closes with a track that includes Jennifer Hudson, Allen Toussaint and the Rebirth Brass Band.
It isn’t all strictly nostalgia though as all the songs have been reworked to make the most out of the guests and there are even a couple new songs. John even produced this album.
Everyone seems to have done the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Some were more creative than others. More importantly, some of the most iconic bands/artists have taken the challenge to spread the word about ALS research.
Got some extra steel lying around? Why not make a fireworks safety suit with it? That’s exactly what this guy did using a process called Hydroforming which is a metal fabricating and forming process, which allows the ability to shape steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, and brass.
