‘Bio’ curious

It’s nice to hear that the long-rumored Jimi Hendrix biopic is back on again, though it will be odd not to hear any of his original stuff in the flick.

Nonetheless, there’s still an unfortunate dearth of movies about hard rock legends so this may be one of the more interesting ones in the works.

Hopefully this helps pave the way for more hard rock biographies. The one flick I am really excited about is due out next year about the late, great Freddie Mercury.

To this day I think is one of the greatest rock voices of all time.  I was also stoked to hear that Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat or Bruno for the unitiated) was cast to play Freddie. The resemblance is uncanny and I think he would nail Freddie’s flamboyant, larger-than-life personality.

Next to be given the Tinseltown treatment needs to be Keith Moon. This one has been off-and-on for a few years and at one point Mike Myers was supposedly slated to play Moon the Loon.

Who do you think would best represent Moonie on the silver screen?
