If you listen to me on Saturday and Sunday mornings, you know I make no secret of my love for all things Geddy, Alex and Neil. In my book, these gents from the Great White North are true renaissance men who can do no wrong, eh.
But as if I needed another reason to be stoked about Rush’s upcoming masterpiece, Clockwork Angels, I came across a track-by-track review from Musicradar.com recently. The praise for each song is as fast as Lerxst’s blistering guitar solos and Pratt’s legendary drum-fills, and as furious and Dirk’s righteous bass lines!
As far as I am concerned, they are already batting 1.000 with ‘Caravan’, ‘BU2B’ and the first single ‘Headlong Flight’. But if this review is any indication, VH1 may want to update their ‘Classic Albums’ segment because Rush may have created their ‘2112’ for the 21st century. In other words, ‘Clockwork Angels’ is a classic!
