With their show last Friday night, the Clockwork Angels tour is officially underway for the men in Rush!

So naturally I’m scouring the net checking the set lists so far in feverish anticipation for their October 22 show at the new Barclays Arena in Brooklyn.

Now Rush are one of a select few bands that can take chances with their set lists and usually find favor with their fans for doing so. That said, they may piss off some of their fans and leave others scratching their heads this time around, notably those that love their older, rockier stuff.

SPOILER ALERT!!…

Reason being is they have brought back quite a few tunes from the key-board friendly mid-80’s era this time around. So there’s lots of stuff from Signals, Grace Under Pressure, Power Windows and Hold Your Fire. They are also playing A LOT of the new disc, as well as unearthing some gems they haven’t played in a while (see one of my favorites below).

And I say bring it on!!!! I can’t wait!
