To say I am not a fan of novelty pop tunes would be putting it mildly. I flat out loathe them!
Dreck like the Macarena, Electric Slide and Barbie Girl don’t even deserve the 99-cent bin as far as I’m concerned. Add to my list the latest monstrosity, Gangnam Style by Psy.
Well as it happens, a friend of mine introduced me to a much heavier version of Gangnam Style recently. First off, the fact that Edoardo Morelli dry heaves part of the chorus is very fitting considering the song he’s covering.
That said, it’s demented fun and, as a metal fan, I love it!
