Would You See Foreigner With The Original Members?

Foreigner is currently out on the road for 4 “special celebration” shows featuring the band’s original members.

It’s called “Double Vision: Then and Now”.

They kicked off the short run in LA.

The show began with the current Foreigner line up doing 7 songs.

That was followed by the original band doing 5 tunes.

They then wrapped it up with everyone on stage to perform “I Want To Know What Love Is” and “Hot Blooded”.

The only one missing was original bassist Ed Gagliardi, who died in 2014.

Check out a few tunes from the show below.

Joe Perry Hospitalized

Some scary news out of MSG last night. Aerosmith legend Joe Perry was rushed to an nearby hospital last night just after taking the stage with Billy Joel during his show at Madison Square Garden

We here at WBAB wish Joe a speedy and full recovery! Our prayers are with you!

Def Leppard Catch Lightning in a Bottle with a Pubescent ‘Thunder God’

Before he became a painter, business entrepreneur and philanthropist. Heck even before being rightfully anointed the “Thunder God”, he was simply 15-year old Rick Allen. And 40 years ago, he became Def Leppard’s drummer.

The Leps were out a skin basher when Tony Kenning, one of rock’s most notable “Wally Pips”, bowed out. But the man who would later become the “Thunder God” strode in and quickly became the thunderous back beat of Def Leppard, a kit that he still mans to this day.

Some of my favorite performances by the Thunder God are below:

You've Got One Last Chance to See Ozzy's 'No More Tours 2'

OZZY OSBOURNE has announced additional North American tour dates for 2019. For these shows, Ozzy will be backed by longtime collaborators Zakk Wylde (Guitar), Blasko (Bass), Tommy Clufetos (Drums) and Adam Wakeman (Keyboards), with Megadeth supporting for the entire North American run.

Tickets for the 2019 North American “NO MORE TOURS 2” shows go on sale to the general public starting Friday, November 9 at and through the Live Nation app. Citi is the official presale credit card of the tour. As such, Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Tuesday, November 6 at 10:00AM (local time) until Thursday, November 8 at 10:00 PM (local time) through Citi’s Private Pass® program. For complete pre-sale details visit

First and foremost, this little cutie nails the iconic middle and end of Queen’s classic song and movie namesake, “Bohemian Rhapsody”!

Secondly, props to her mom for raising her up on excellent music!

And finally (the best part) she bangs her head with the same aplomb as Wayne, Garth and crew in the equally memorable scene in “Wayne’s World”.

General online consensus (and I agree with wholeheartedly), Freddie would have loved this!

Still “Flexible” After All These Years

They haven’t released any new tunes in 35 years and the last time they played onstage together was a decade ago, Yet The Police’s music is still as fresh-sounding as it as the first time that the world heard them 40 years ago.

There’s a box set due out later this month which will have all of their albums on remastered vinyl along with the requisite disc of unreleased goodies called “Flexible Strategies”

Fitting that they released this massive collection on vinyl considering that was the only way you could buy their debut album, also out 40 years ago this month. Even here their innovative reggae-infused rock was on glorious display.

WBAB’s First Responder Fridays
