Out of the night and out of the dark of his drum kit came Phil!

One of Phil Collins’ first ever shows as the reluctant lead singer for Genesis is now online and in some pretty awesome Super-8 footage. Below is a 17-minute hodgepodge montage beginning with ‘Dance on a Volcano’ and closing out with ‘Watcher of the Skies’ off the magnificent ‘Foxtrot’.

Phil had been their lead singer for all of week when this footage came out. In his humorously understated way, he said it best beginning at 18:12 of this episode of “Behind The Music”,…'I got the job cause we couldn’t find anyone else!’
