Debbie Harry and Chris Stein recruited Clem Burke to be the drummer for Blondie in the early days of the band forming.
Clem has held that position throughout the band’s entire career.
On April 14th, 2022 Blondie will kick off their new tour at The Paramount in Huntington.
Once again, Clem will be sitting on the drum throne for that show and the tour to follow.
We recently spoke to Clem about the upcoming show and the tour to follow.
We discussed the band’s influences, their documentary “Blondie: Vivir En La Habana”, new music and a lot more.
We also took some time to discuss other people who Clem has played with, including The Ramones and Nancy Sinatra.
