Back in 2018 Ann Wilson released her solo album “Immortal”.

The record was a collection of covers from well known artists.

Then in November 2020 Ann released her cover of Steve Earle’s “The Revolution Starts Now”.

It seems apparent that for 2021 the Wilson sisters of Heart will focus on the solo sides of their careers.

For 2021 Nancy Wilson will be releasing her first ever solo record.

She already released her version of Bruce Springsteen’s “The Rising” from the album.

Then on January 22nd 2021 Ann Wilson released a new original song “Tender Heart”.

The song starts out with Ann’s voice alone singing “When a tender heart breaks” and is then joined by a keyboard.

For the skills Ann has vocally, she sounds mostly laid back on this song.

But there are those moments when she lets loose, just enough, to remind you she is one of Rock’s best voices.

The song definitely has a soulful sound.
