A great soundtrack is a priority in my life, and this one in the works sounds mighty fine. A new box set celebrating the tuneage from 80s filmmaker extraordinaire John Hughes is in the works.

The 4-CD box set takes tunes from 80s classics like The Breakfast Club, Pretty In Pink, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Uncle Buck, National Lampoon’s Vacation, Sixteen Candles, Weird Science, Some Kind Of Wonderful, Planes, Trains And Automobiles, She’s Having A Baby and The Great Outdoors.
