Deanna Dempsey | Honoree for December 29th, 2023

Deanna was nominated by Bill, her Father, who said “Deanna has always been an outgoing person who has a love of working with children. Deanna graduated from Adelphi University as a Registered Nurse. Upon graduating she went to work at Northwell Health’s Cohen’ Children’s Hospital in the Pediatric ICU. Deanna started there at the height of Covid taking care of children and adults at the time. Covid took its toll on many healthcare providers but Deanna got through it and continues to take care of her patients and precepts new nurses.”
