Dr Mathew was nominated by his coworker, Margaret Perry, who said “He is the director of The Emergency Department at St. Joseph’s Hospital and during this pandemic, he has gone above and beyond in making sure all of us are safe and well informed, making sure we have appropriate PPE; even going as far to buy needed items himself. He deserves recognition for all of his selfless deeds and his hard work; making himself available to the staff 24/7 to offer them assistance in what ever capacity is needed. He is truly an inspiration to the whole team”.
