Grace was nominated by Paula, who said “Dedicated Suffolk County Dispatcher who has been working 12 hour shifts for months . She never says no when asked to cover a shift knowing that the team is so short staffed and it would put the police in harms way. Grace is known for keeping a cool head on her shoulders when in the middle of a tense situation and has been recognized for her service on multiple occasions. This is why she should be recognized.”
