Kathleen was nominated by her daughter Joanna who said, “My mom worked tirelessly during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. She was a nurse on the Telemetry unit and the COVID unit at St Joseph’s in Plainedge. My mom is now a nurse practitioner at Catholic Health Ambulatory Care. She stayed strong in the era of confusion. She’s been through a lot in life, but still wakes up every morning to care for and heal others. Best of all, she wakes up to be my mother.”
