Kelly Ann Burke | Honoree for December 16th, 2022

Kelly Ann was nominated by her sister-in-law, Teresa Burke, who said “Kelly Ann has been a registered nurse for over 30 years at North Shore University Hospital. She worked many years in the Emergency Room before transferring to the heart unit. Her unit was turned into a COVID Unit when the outbreak hit and she suited up and worked daily with COVID patients while she herself is a high risk, immunocompromised individual, as a cancer survivor. Kelly Ann has been a first responder and volunteer through many incidents including September 11th and always puts others needs in front of her own. As a first responders she continues to assist others even off the clock without any recognition. I truly believe Kelly Ann deserve this recognition and would be quite humbled with just being acknowledged.”
