Kristi was nominated by her mother, Donna Karr, who said, “My daughter is an amazing young woman who helps people every day. Since Covid, she has worked her butt off as a Paramedic nonstop at Southampton Village Ambulance and other fire departments. She did this all while helping me and becoming a new wife. But she always puts everyone else first and she deserves a thank you every once and a while. Kristi recently began working at Stony Brook Hospital as well. She never stops and will always help someone in need.”
