Larry was nominated by his son, Matthew Schneckenburger, who said “My father has been a FDNY firefighter for years and was there when the towers went down. He did his time in Brownsville, East NY his whole career. He has remained to be a volunteer fire fighter to this day. He deserves this!” Larry is also a Commack Volunteer ambulance member for 13 years and Suffolk County Fire Rescue Coordinator.
